What is Pilates?

Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise designed to strengthen your body, help improve your posture and balance, all whilst improving your general health and wellbeing. 

Pilates is named after its creator, Joseph Pilates. He developed the exercise method in the 1920s after recognizing that the demands of ‘modern life’ were taking its toll on our health and physical fitness.

Traditional Pilates can be done with or without equipment. At Camrose Pilates we use the Reformer, Tower and the Mat in our teaching

Is Pilates for me & what are the benefits?

Pilates has something to offer people of all ages and abilities including newcomers to exercise, those returning from injury and elite athletes.

Pilates exercises can be adapted to support anyone, including people with certain medical conditions as well as older and younger populations.

Group Mat Classes 

Each class is 50 minutes and limited to just 4 people so booking is highly recommended. In these small classes you will experience a low impact full body workout, focusing on core strength, flexibility, balance & alignment. 

Classes are done on a mat and we often use props like the Foam Roller, Magic Circle and Thera Bands to enhance your workout.  

Private 1:1 Sessions 

These personalized sessions utilize the Mat and Pilates Equipment and are specifically tailored to meet your individual needs and goals. 30 and 55 minute sessions are available to book.

Our Intro Package consists of 3 x 55 minute private sessions which is a great introduction to everything Pilates has to offer. These sessions are particularly beneficial if you are suffering or recovering from an injury.

  • 5 Class Pass $85+GST

    $17+GST per class

  • 10 Class Pass (popular choice) $150+GST

    One-on-One personalized session

  • Private Session (55mins) $70+GST

    One-on-One personalized session

  • Private Intro Package $165+GST

    3 x 55min private sessions for $55+GST per session (New Clients only)

Multi Session Packages are also available to purchase for 30 and 55 minute privates lessons.
